Session 3 - Shaping the Next Phase: Action, Vision & Momentum + 300 Million Solar Homes

​“300 million solar homes by 2030” is an initiative started by the Global Solar Council (GSC), where the plan is to equip homes with distributed solar to add 2.5 terawatts of new capacity by 2030, nearly matching the entire global solar capacity.

​The target is to strengthen energy security, energy access, and energy resilience, and ensure a just energy transition, one that is independent of geopolitical conditions, the economic standing of a nation, or other socio-economic and cultural constraints.
