Prototype to Production: Build scalable backend solutions with Payload

​Payload is an open-source backend framework & CMS powered by Next.js. It provides a well-structured architecture for rapidly developing backend functionality while allowing complete control over your database, infrastructure, auth & business logic. For builders who want to move as fast as Supabase allows, but with the architectural clarity and maintainability needed for real production systems.

​This workshop will introduce Payload’s architecture and guide you through building a deployable backend. Topics include authentication, relationships, access control, file uploads, and custom endpoints. You will leave with a working demo project and a solid understanding of how to build with Payload.

​Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js/Next.js is required for following along. You’re welcome to join without the technical background, but some concepts may feel advanced.
