A Calmer Local Forum for Ann Arbor: TownSpeak Preview

Ann Arbor deserves a local board where you can see what a post is about before you open it. TownSpeak is a prototype for tag-first local conversation: café tips, events, giveaways, a lost scarf, small local questions. Posts appear as topic and content-warning bubbles so you choose what to open. Screen names keep your public identity separate from private approval, and a built-in photo tool masks faces before a picture is posted.

In 45 minutes we'll walk through the design (with fictional sample posts), explain how the Ann Arbor pilot will work, and ask what you want from a local forum. Questions and skepticism welcome.
