Uplift Live: Black in the Room

​This Black History Month, seven of the UK's leading Black-led community networks are coming together for one night: Uplift Live: Black in the Room.

​This isn't a panel you watch from a distance. It's a room built for honest conversation and real, usable tools, on what it means to be Black at work right now, against a backdrop of DEI rollback, rising redundancies across tech, media and advertising, and an industry still reflecting on the loss of Professor Jason Arday.

​What to expect:

• ​Community Leaders Panel, all seven together on why this year matters

• ​Live conversation with Rene, co-founder of The Other Box

• ​Hands-on workshops, including career strategy with Adele Lewis Bridgeman and disability/accessibility at work with Terri-Louise Brown (Talks with MS)

• ​A full hour of networking, food and drinks to close
