This session is presented by Kira Dorrian, who has been acting professionally on stage and screen since her teenage years. After graduating from NYU's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, Kira moved to London, where she worked for 7 years at various theatres and production houses, including the BBC and Disney. Since returning to the Pacific Northwest, Kira has worked as a successful voice actor and educator, including a guest lecture position in the University of Washington's PATP program. Her writing accomplishments include copywriting continuity scripts for the BBC; a one-act play that was picked up and produced in New York; writing, hosting, and producing a successful podcast for 5 seasons; and publishing articles on sites like Mother.ly. She recently completed her first full-length play, which was workshopped at Centerstage Theatre as part of their recent New Works Festival.
