When Psychology Meets UX is an event series created for UX designers and product thinkers who are curious about the human side of decision-making and how it shows up in real products.
What you can expect
In this session, Eva Bandke from Berlin Bytes shares insights from a real B2B SaaS case study exploring a surprising user behavior: when people feel blocked, frustrated, or impatient, they don’t just drop off, some actively try to “hack” the system to keep moving.
The talk highlights key friction points, unexpected user reactions, and how small but deliberate design decisions helped stabilize motivation, even in moments where the process had to be interrupted.
Grounded in hands-on research and rapid iteration, this session offers practical insights for anyone designing complex user flows.
After the talk, participants are invited to take part in an interactive session. Of course we’ll leave plenty of time at the end to hang out, meet new people, and keep the conversation going over food and drinks.
