皇居を舞台に開催した第1回に続き、Build Tokyo 第2回を開催します！
今週土曜日、子どもたちは浅草・浅草寺を探検します。東京を代表する歴史的な場所を実際に訪れた後、Tokyo Innovation Base（TiB）に戻り、自分たちが見て、感じて、学んだことをMinecraft Educationの世界で再現します。
東京を探検 → 観察 → 想像 → 協力 → Minecraftでつくる
Build Tokyoは、東京の街を実際に探検する体験、日本の文化、建築、チームワーク、テクノロジー、Minecraft Educationを組み合わせた、ユニークな1DAYプログラムです。
そして、毎回のBuild Tokyoには大きなミッションがあります。
東京の街を、ランドマークごとにMinecraftの世界につくっていくこと。🗼⛏️

🏮 午前：浅草・浅草寺を探検
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
1日は**Tokyo Innovation Base（TiB）**からスタートします。
子どもたちはインストラクターやチームメンバーと合流した後、みんなで浅草へ移動します。
Dream Labが、Tokyo Innovation Baseから浅草寺までの往復交通費をカバーする交通カードを参加者全員にご用意します。
浅草寺では、東京を代表する歴史的・文化的スポットを探検しながら、歴史、建築、日本文化、そして浅草という街について学びます。
子どもたちは、例えば以下のような場所や特徴を観察します。

探検中は、建物や街並みをよく観察し、写真を撮ったり、チームで話し合ったりしながら、午後にMinecraftで再現したいものを見つけていきます。
ただ浅草寺を「見学する」だけではありません。
デザイナー、建築家、クリエイターのような視点で街を見ることもBuild Tokyoの大切な体験です。

🍱 ランチ・遊び・交流タイム
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
浅草寺の探検後は、子どもたちがランチを食べたり、休憩したり、遊んだりしながら、みんなで楽しく過ごす時間をたっぷり設けています。
この時間もBuild Tokyoの大切な一部です。
午前の探検が終わってすぐにパソコンに向かうのではなく、子どもたちが一緒に遊んだり、新しい友達と交流したりしながら、午後のプロジェクトに向けてアイデアを共有する時間にしたいと考えています。
浅草寺で何を発見したのか、何が一番面白かったのか、そして午後に何をつくってみたいのか。
みんなで自由に話しながら、Minecraftでの制作に向けて想像を膨らませていきます。

💻 午後：Minecraftで浅草寺をつくろう！
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
ランチと交流タイムの後は、Tokyo Innovation Baseに戻り、Minecraftでの制作をスタートします。
午前中に実際に見て、感じて、観察したことを活かしながら、チームで協力して浅草寺やその周辺をMinecraft Educationの世界に再現します。
子どもたちは、自分たちで何をつくるのかを考え、チーム内で役割を分担しながら、一緒に一つのMinecraftワールドをつくり上げていきます。
年齢や経験に応じて、Minecraft EducationのCode Builder、ブロックベースのプログラミング、Pythonなどを使い、プログラミングを取り入れた建築にもチャレンジできます。
Minecraftやプログラミングの経験は必要ありません。
初心者の子どもたちは建築、創造力、チームワークを中心に楽しみ、経験のある子どもたちは、より複雑な建築やプログラミングにも挑戦できます。
私たちの目標はシンプルです。
テクノロジーを、創造・協力・学びのためのツールとして使うこと。

📅 当日のスケジュール

🕙 10:00 — Tokyo Innovation Baseに集合・お預かり
Tokyo Innovation Base（TiB）前に集合してください。
インストラクターが子どもたちをお迎えし、当日の流れを説明した後、みんなで浅草へ向かいます。
🏮 10:00–12:00 — 浅草・浅草寺探検
浅草へ移動し、浅草寺とその周辺エリアを探検します。
歴史や建築について学びながら、午後のMinecraft制作につながるアイデアやインスピレーションを集めます。
🍱 12:00–14:00 — ランチ・遊び・交流タイム
ランチを食べて、リラックスして、みんなで楽しく過ごす時間です！
子どもたちは一緒に遊び、新しい友達をつくり、午前中に発見したことや午後につくりたいものについてアイデアを共有します。
🚃 14:00–14:30 — Tokyo Innovation Baseへ移動
みんなでTiBへ戻り、午後のMinecraftセッションの準備をします。
💻 14:30–17:00 — Minecraft制作セッション
午前中に集めたアイデアや観察したことをもとに、チームで協力しながらMinecraft Educationで浅草寺をデザイン・建築します。
👋 17:00 — イベント終了・お迎え
保護者の方は、17:00にTokyo Innovation Base（TiB）前までお迎えをお願いいたします。

子ども6名につきインストラクター1名（1:6）
少人数制にすることで、1人ひとりに目が届き、必要なサポートができる環境を整えています。
スタッフが移動、浅草寺の探検、ランチ、アクティビティを通して子どもたちに同行し、午後のMinecraftワークショップでも各チームをサポートします。

Build Tokyoは、パソコンの前から始まりません。リアルな世界から始まります。
まず子どもたちは、東京の街を実際に見て、歩いて、観察して、質問して、体験します。
そして、そのリアルな体験をテクノロジーと組み合わせ、自分たちの手で新しいものへと変えていきます。
Build Tokyoでは、毎回違う東京の場所を探検します。
そして毎週、私たちのMinecraftワールドに新しい東京の一部が加わっていきます。
皇居から始まり、今回の浅草寺、そしてこれから東京中のさまざまなランドマークや街へ。
子どもたち自身の手で、Minecraftの世界に東京を少しずつつくり上げていきます。

🇬🇧Build Tokyo is Back! 🏮 Second Edition: Explore Senso-ji & Rebuild It in Minecraft
After an amazing first edition at the Imperial Palace, Build Tokyo is back for its second adventure!
This Saturday, our young explorers will head to Asakusa and Senso-ji, one of Tokyo’s most iconic and historic landmarks, before returning to Tokyo Innovation Base (TiB) to recreate what they discovered in Minecraft Education.
Explore Tokyo → Observe → Imagine → Collaborate → Build
Build Tokyo is a unique full-day experience combining real-world exploration, Japanese culture, architecture, teamwork, technology, and Minecraft Education.
And week after week, our students have one ambitious mission:
Build the city of Tokyo in Minecraft — one landmark at a time. 🗼⛏️

🏮 Morning: Explore Senso-ji & Asakusa
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Our day begins at Tokyo Innovation Base (TiB), where children will meet their instructors and teammates before travelling together to Asakusa.
Dream Lab will provide each participant with a transportation card covering the round trip between Tokyo Innovation Base and Senso-ji.
At Senso-ji, children will explore one of Tokyo's most famous cultural landmarks while discovering its history, architecture, traditions, and surrounding neighborhood.
They will observe features such as:

🏯 Senso-ji Temple
🏛️ Traditional Japanese architectural details
Throughout the visit, participants will be encouraged to observe, take photographs, discuss what they see, and identify the details they may want to recreate later in Minecraft.
The goal is not simply to visit Senso-ji — it is to experience the city like a designer, architect and creator.

🍱 Lunch, Play & Collaboration
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
After our exploration, children will have plenty of time to eat, recharge, play, talk and enjoy time together.
This is an important part of the Build Tokyo experience.
Rather than moving immediately from sightseeing to computers, we want participants to have time to socialize, make friends, exchange ideas and collaborate before beginning their afternoon project.
They can discuss what they discovered at Senso-ji, share their favorite parts of the visit and start imagining what they would like to create together.

💻 Afternoon: Build Senso-ji in Minecraft
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
After lunch and play time, we will return to Tokyo Innovation Base for our Minecraft building session.
Using everything they observed during the morning, participants will work together to recreate Senso-ji and its surroundings inside Minecraft Education.
Children will decide what they want to build, divide responsibilities within their teams and collaborate on creating their own interpretation of Senso-ji.
Depending on their age and experience, participants can also explore Minecraft Education's Code Builder, block-based coding and Python to introduce programming into their creations.
No previous Minecraft or programming experience is required.
Beginners can focus on building, creativity and teamwork, while more experienced participants can take on more complex building and coding challenges.
Our goal is simple:
Use technology as a tool for creativity, collaboration and learning.

🕙 10:00 AM — Drop-off at Tokyo Innovation Base
Please meet us in front of Tokyo Innovation Base (TiB).
Our instructors will welcome the children, introduce the day's adventure and prepare the group before travelling together to Asakusa.
🏮 10:00 AM–12:00 PM — Senso-ji Exploration
Travel to Asakusa and explore Senso-ji and the surrounding area.
Children will discover its history and architecture while collecting ideas and inspiration for their Minecraft creations.
🍱 12:00–2:00 PM — Lunch, Play & Collaboration
Time to eat, relax, play and enjoy being together!
Children will have the opportunity to socialize, make friends and exchange ideas about what they discovered during the morning.
🚃 2:00–2:30 PM — Return to Tokyo Innovation Base
The group will travel back together to TiB and prepare for the afternoon Minecraft session.
💻 2:30–5:00 PM — Minecraft Building Session
Children work together to design and build Senso-ji in Minecraft Education, using their observations and ideas from the morning exploration.
👋 5:00 PM — Event Ends & Pickup
Parents should pick up their children in front of Tokyo Innovation Base (TiB) at 5:00 PM.
Late pickup is available upon request. Please contact us in advance if needed.

👩🏫 Our Support & Supervision

1 instructor for every 6 children (1:6 ratio)
We maintain small groups so our instructors can provide individual attention and support throughout the experience.
Our staff accompany participants during transportation, the Senso-ji visit, lunch and activities, and instructors remain with their teams throughout the Minecraft workshop.
