About Event

From Union Station to Little Norway Park

Join us for the next CAC Data Walk, a unique outdoor networking experience hosted by the Canadian Analytics Collaborative (CAC).

Instead of meeting in a conference room or joining another virtual session, we'll step outside, enjoy Toronto's waterfront, and connect through meaningful conversations while walking together.

This event is designed for professionals, leaders, students, career transitioners, and anyone interested in data, analytics, and AI who values authentic connections and engaging discussions in a relaxed setting.

β€‹πŸ“… Date: Saturday, June 20, 2026
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
πŸ“ Meeting Point: Union Station (near Sephora)
🚢 Departure: 10:15 AM sharp

Our walk will take us along Toronto's beautiful Harbourfront Trail toward Little Norway Park, a scenic waterfront park with a rich history and stunning views of Lake Ontario.

Why Join a CAC Data Walk?

Most networking events focus on exchanging business cards.

CAC Data Walks are different.

By combining movement, nature, and conversation, these walks create an environment where discussions feel more natural, connections are more genuine, and ideas flow more freely.

Whether you're:

  • Exploring career opportunities

  • Looking to expand your professional network

  • Interested in AI and analytics trends

  • Seeking new perspectives from peers

  • Simply looking to step away from your routine and recharge

this event is for you.

What We Typically Discuss

Every walk is different, but conversations often include:

β€‹πŸ’‘ Careers and navigating today's job market
πŸ€– Practical applications of AI in data and analytics
πŸ“Š Industry trends and emerging technologies
πŸš€ Professional growth and leadership
🀝 Collaboration, networking, and community building

There is no formal agenda, presentation, or sales pitchβ€”just great conversations with great people.

Why Outdoors?

Many of us spend our days behind screens, in meetings, or working remotely.

CAC Data Walks provide an opportunity to:

  • Connect with nature

  • Improve overall well-being

  • Meet like-minded professionals

  • Build meaningful relationships

  • Return feeling refreshed and energized

Some of the best conversations happen when we're walking side by side rather than sitting across a table.

What to Bring

β€‹βœ” Comfortable walking shoes
βœ” Water bottle
βœ” Light snack (optional)
βœ” Weather-appropriate clothing

Rain or shine, we plan to walk.
