Explore what’s possible with AI at Part Deaux of Utah’s new Prompt Pivot Pitch AI Build Challenge series (three connected events over three months where real problems meet real solutions), plus dinner and dancing to keep it fun and human.
Pivot Event Goal
By the end of Pivot, every team should have:
A Pivot Thesis: what changed since Prompt, if anything.
A Track Choice: AI System, AI Skill/Agent, or Business Plan.
An Outcome Contract One-Pager: problem, audience, current cost, desired outcome, proof lane, risks, and next proof step.
A Team Operating Model: roles, missing roles, owner, build cadence, and decision rules.
A Pitch Plan: what evidence they will present at Pitch and what help they still need.
This first gathering at DF Dance Studio brought together problem owners, product thinkers, prompt engineers, and pitch-ready builders to start shaping solutions that will evolve across the full summer series.
We started with Prompts: where anyone could submit real-world challenges from business, community, education, or everyday life, then work side by side with AI experts and business leaders to frame them into clear, solvable problem statements.
From there, teams pivoted to explore agentic AI, new tools, and creative approaches to prototype practical solutions that could grow between events rather than disappear when the night ended.
Finally, we move toward the Pitch: each team has started shaping a narrative and outcome they can refine and showcase at later events in the series.
Along the way, we will highlight the full 5P’s of the experience: People (builders, problem owners, and partners),
Problems (community submitted challenges),
Prompts (how we talk to AI),
Pivots (how we adapt and iterate), and...
Pitch (how we share what we have built and learned).
To keep the energy up, the night also features the 2D’s,
Dinner and Dancing, leveraging DF Dance Studio and its social, creative vibe so you can connect with other attendees in a setting that feels more like a party than a conference.
Again, this is event two of the Prompt Pivot Pitch AI Build Challenge series, with one follow-up night in August where teams can come back with progress, get feedback, and level up their solutions in front of the community. (Anyone is welcome to attend at any point in the process).
