🍽️ The neuroscience of appetite - beyond willpower.
Join us at York Street Collective for a talk with Lucas Encarnacion-Rivera, a neuroscience PhD candidate at Stanford, who explores the hidden circuits in our brains that control appetite.
From the pangs of a late lunch to the surprising differences in why some people eat more or less - Lucas will take us inside the neural pathways that decide when we pick up the fork… and when we put it down.
This lecture dives into the science of hunger, showing how the brain drives our cravings and choices, often beyond conscious control. Prepare to rethink what it really means to “listen to your body.” 🧠🍴
