How to enter the art world

How do you enter the art world – and what does success really mean once you’re there?

Join writer, curator and Apollo columnist Hettie Judah in conversation with Sukhdev Sandhu, author and founder of the Colloquium for Unpopular Culture at New York University, at Apollo’s new rooftop headquarters in Manhattan, to celebrate the US release of Hettie’s latest book, How to Enter the Art World.

A frank, funny and myth-busting guide for artists whose paths don’t necessarily follow the traditional route, the book explores how to build a sustainable creative life amid career changes, family, illness, self-doubt and time away from the art world.

Join us on Tuesday November 10 at the Apollo Club in NoMad, Manhattan. Hettie’s book will be available to purchase, and be signed, on the night.

• Doors open 6pm

• Discussion begins 7pm

• Event ends 8.30pm

Your ticket includes refreshments. You must be 21+ to attend this event. By purchasing a ticket to this event, you are registering for our events newsletter (you can unsubscribe at any time).
