About Event
The Uganda Power & Energy Sector Forum 2026 is an industry academia engagement event organized by the IEEE Makerere University Student Branch in collaboration with the IEEE Uganda Section, IEEE Young Professionals, and CEDAT.
Under the theme “Preparing the Next Generation of Engineers for Uganda’s Energy Value Chain,” the event aims to facilitate discussions on industry trends, workforce expectations, and career development, while strengthening collaboration between academia and the power sector.
