Taming Your Inner Critic with Avni Panchal, LCSW
The way you talk to yourself shapes everything, including your confidence and mood, your choices, and the risks you’re willing to take.
If you’ve ever felt held back by self-doubt, constant second-guessing, or a harsh inner voice that never seems satisfied, you’re not alone. That critical inner commentary isn’t a personal flaw; it’s a pattern you can understand and change. With the right tools, you can reclaim your sense of possibility and relate to yourself with more courage and compassion.
This free community workshop is your invitation to pause, reconnect, and learn a new way of responding to the voice inside that tells you you’re “not enough.”
With guidance from a licensed therapist and the support of others who get it, you’ll explore:
• The seven types of inner critics, how they operate, where they originate, and why they believe they’re protecting you.
• How to recognize which critics tend to run the show in your life and the stories they repeat on autopilot.
• Practical, research-backed strategies for quieting self-criticism and creating new inner narratives that strengthen self-worth.
• Tools to cultivate genuine self-compassion so you feel more grounded, more confident, and more aligned with the life you want.
You’ll leave with much greater awareness and tools that will help you boost self-esteem, cultivate self-compassion, and tame the inner critics that live inside all of us.
This event is about 90 minutes long, with cameras on. Participants are encouraged to introduce themselves (first names only), and share as they feel comfortable.
