Mental Health & Neurodivergence
The Sensory Landscape
A Deep Dive into the Science of Human Connection, Energy, and Evolution.
Your environment is a physical conversation with your nervous system. For the Neurodivergent person, this conversation is often a shout rather than a whisper.
When we talk about Psychosocial well-being, we aren't just talking about 'thoughts' or 'mindsets.' We are talking about the sensory reality of your room, your clothes, and the sounds around you.
If the senses are constantly detecting threat, the mind cannot feel safe. To heal the psychosocial experience, we must first curate the sensory environment. We don't change the mind to fix the body; we soothe the senses to free the mind.
