Automate One Thing #1
Come with a task. Leave with it automated.
Join us for an intimate, hands-on evening for professionals who want to get dramatically more out of AI - and are honest that they're only scratching the surface.
Applications are curated by hand and capped, so you can expect a high-quality room. The attendee list is circulated prior, and the session itself is designed around the tasks you pick.
NB: The focus of this evening is doing. We're less interested in AI theory, prompt-tip threads, and other people's product demos, and more interested in you leaving with 1 piece of your actual job automated and running before you head home.
Are you a marketer who suspects the weekly reporting deck could build itself? An ops lead copying the same numbers between 3 tools every Monday morning? A finance or legal professional buried in documents that follow the same pattern every time? A founder who doesn't code but knows the invoice chasing, the inbox triage and the research grind could be handed to AI if someone just showed you how? This is your room.
Please share with any friends who keep saying "I really need to get better at this stuff."
WHEN & WHERE
📅 Wednesday, September , 2026. 6:30 - 8:45 PM
📍 TBD
Bring: a laptop, the task you named in your application, and logins for the tools you already use at work.
Who this is for: marketers, ops, finance, founders who don't code, and anyone who works at a screen and suspects half of it could be delegated. If you can write a clear email, you can do this.
House rules
Everyone builds. No spectators, no pitching, no hiring, no product demos. Food and drinks are on us.
About your host
Ben studied Electrical and Computer Engineering at Princeton, co-founded GOM AI, and is currently leading AI adoption at Untamed, where he builds the automations and AI tools the team runs on daily across marketing, ops and customer service. He's shipped iOS apps, developer tools, and more automations than he can count, and started this series because the distance between "uses ChatGPT" and "has AI doing the boring parts of the job" is much shorter than most people think.
About GOM
GOM is the automation platform for operators - currently piloting in a series A company & growing rapidly. GOM is built by operators, for operators.
