Sustainable Finance Bootcamp: Community-Led Ocean Action
Less than 1% of climate and conservation finance reaches the Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities who safeguard the world’s vital ecosystems. Community-led conservation finance changes that. It ensures money flows directly to local actors, is tied to real conservation results, and is accountable every step of the way. It’s not just more money for nature, it’s money in the right hands, making the right impact.
Underpinned by the principles of sustainable finance, the session will unpack actual finance solutions that are advancing ocean finance in the context of community-led conservation to work towards sustainable finance actually reaching those who are on the front lines of ocean stewardship.
