Let’s be honest.
Not every campaign performs. Not every launch converts. Not every strategy that looks brilliant in a deck survives real life.
Spill the Beans is an intimate gathering where marketers come together to share their real, unfiltered failure stories. No slides, no polished case studies, no perfect answers. Just honest conversations, good coffee, and a room full of people who understand what it actually feels like to work in marketing today.
Hosted by Gabriela and Bárbara from Women in Marketing, this is a safe space built on one simple rule. What’s shared here, stays here.
We’ll start with open conversations around the tables to warm up the room, and later invite a few volunteers to share their story with everyone. Short, real, and human. Because behind every “successful” marketer is a list of things that didn’t work. We just don’t usually talk about them out loud.
How the afternoon will flow
4:00 – 4:15 pm | Arrivals and Coffee
Come in. Grab your drink, coffee or something stronger. Start connecting. No pressure. Just settle in.
4:15 – 4:20 pm | Setting the Tone
Gabriela and Bárbara open the space and share why this conversation matters. One clear rule. Confidentiality. This only works if it feels safe.
4:20 – 4:50 pm | Open Conversations
We begin around the tables. Smaller circles. Real talk. This is where the ice breaks. The campaign that looked perfect on paper and flopped. The ad budget that did not bring the ROI you promised. No pressure to stand in front of everyone. Just honest conversations. We will move around, spark discussions, and make sure everyone feels included.
4:50 – 5:20 pm | Story Rounds
Once the room feels warm, we open the floor. A few volunteers will share a short marketing f*ckup story, five to seven minutes each. After every story, we open briefly for reactions, reflections, or those powerful “I’ve been there” moments.
Because failure in marketing is not rare. We just do not normalize talking about it.
5:20 pm onwards | Stay and Connect
More drinks. More stories. More honest conversations. Let it flow naturally.
