At the NextWave Hackathon 2026, you'll work with a team of 4 engineers to solve a real product and technology challenge, creating a functional prototype with direct impact on the future of payments, logistics, and AI-native technology.

βThis edition takes place in Buenos Aires and is part of a multi-city hackathon happening across SΓ£o Paulo, BogotΓ‘, Mexico City and Buenos Aires.
βπ Who are we looking for? People who are in:
βAnyone who can build. Computer engineering or related fields β experienced professionals, final-year students, or recent grads
βEnglish level B1+
βEagerness to learn, think like product creators, and create real solutions
βWe're not just looking for code β we're looking for judgment, creativity, and execution ability

βTeams of 4 participants
βMust register individually but share the same team name
βIf you don't have a team, you can join one during the selection process
βπ Main prize
βWinning teams compete for a $25,000 USD prize pool (cash + OpenAI credits). Each team goes up against the winning teams from other locations: every country's winner will present to a final jury, which selects the top three projects from the four finalists.
