Vibe & Build vol.V - The Nomad Hack
Digital nomads move through Athens every week, and most of them are stuck rebuilding the same solutions to the same problems, over and over, from scratch. Where's the co-working spaces with actually fast wifi. How do I find a doctor who speaks English. Who else nearby is working on something interesting. What's the fastest way to sort out a tax question without hiring a lawyer for a ten minute answer.
The Nomad Hack is a three hour hackathon with one goal, build an app that makes a digital nomad's life easier. From idea to build in one afternoon. You show up with an idea or find one in the room, you build for two hours in Lovable, and you demo it live before the night is over.
You do not need to be a developer. Lovable builds working apps from plain language, so if you can describe the problem clearly, you can build the fix. Come solo or pair up with someone you meet at the door.
The tracks
1. Find It. - It covers discovery problems, things like finding co-working spaces with honest wifi speeds, cafes that welcome laptop work, or vetted doctors and services that are hard to evaluate from outside.
2. Sort It. - About paperwork and logistics, things like visas, taxes, banking, and the admin side of living somewhere as a foreigner.
3. Meet It. - All about connection, things like helping nomads find each other, form groups, or avoid the isolation that comes with moving constantly.
4. Budget It. - Let's talk about money and cost, things like tracking spending, splitting expenses with others, or comparing cost of living across cities nomads are considering next.
Pick a track for guidance or build outside them if you've got your own idea. What matters is that you ship something real against a real problem.
