About Event

What can sport teach us about taking on a challenge as big as climate change?

Hosted by Adapt2Win and the Youth Climate Action Alliance (YCAA), this conversation brings professional and student athletes together to explore how the values learned through sport can help us respond to a changing climate.

Featuring former NBA player and current NBA executive Pops Mensah-Bonsu alongside student athletes from YCAA’s Student Ambassador network and partner schools, the discussion will bring together perspectives from athletes at different stages of their journeys.

From adapting when conditions change to working as a team, responding to setbacks and staying motivated for the long game, athletes develop skills that extend far beyond the field of play. Join us for a conversation about what the mindset of sport can teach us about tackling climate challenges and building a stronger, more collaborative path forward.
