Shelf Life: The CPG Hackathon
📋 Event Description
Consumer brands are racing to put AI to work, and most of them are moving too slowly. Join us for a one-day sprint where NYC’s best builders take on real problems from real CPG brands and ship working products by sundown.
This is an in-person hackathon for engineers, designers, founders and CPG operators who want to build tools that end up on actual store shelves, ad campaigns and supply chains.
Problem Statement
The brands behind your favorite snacks, drinks and beauty products are drowning in data from shelves, reviews, retail media and supply chains. Your challenge: use AI to help a CPG brand sell smarter, launch faster or understand its customers better.
The Challenge Theme
Shelf and retail intelligence: catch out-of-stocks before the buyer calls
Retail media and marketing: brief to 50 on-brand ad variants in minutes
Consumer insights: turn thousands of reviews into insights a brand team will actually read
Supply chain and demand: forecast a promo’s lift before committing inventory
