AI Safety Connect Day
Our AI Safety Connect (AISC) flagship event, co-hosted with the International Association for Safe and Ethical AI (IASEAI), brings together approximately 250 policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders for a full day of programming. The event includes panels, lightning talks, and workshops focused on practical coordination mechanisms. Sessions will address multilateral frameworks, technology-enabled governance, and bridging divides between sectors and regions. This is AISC's signature convening during the India AI Impact Summit.
This is a full-day event with high-level discussions in the morning, followed by two tracks of hands-on sessions covering (1) technical research and (2) policy coordination in the afternoon, followed by an evening dinner reception.

Why AI Safety Connect:
The race to build frontier and sovereign AI is accelerating, causing regulatory frameworks and safety standards to fragment along geopolitical lines. Without coordination, this fragmentation threatens to make AI safety a privilege of advanced economies rather than a global baseline. A parallel risk is security and safety being left out of the equation, ultimately exposing everyone to systemic risks.
Within this context, the third edition of AI Safety Connect takes place during the AI Impact Summit in New Delhi and focuses on India as a key Global Majority heavyweight that stands at a critical juncture between competing global AI agendas and narratives. This convening recognizes that the Global South currently lacks control over the development of frontier technologies.
