​Most people agree that letting Silicon Valley control our whole society was a bad idea. Fewer people know what to do about it.

​That is where the Unplatform project comes in: an interactive guide and recommendations database made to help people and communities find alternatives to Big Tech's monopolistic tools. We'll talk about how to find news, events, and culture outside the the shadow of Silicon Valley, and we might even catch a glimpse of an internet beyond the "five giant websites, each filled with screenshots of the other four."
