From Self Confidence to Strategic Vision
The whole Upskilling project was born from a mission and a vision: bridging the gap between senior leadership’s bird’s-eye view and the realities in the field, realities that, for many reasons, often remain visible only at individual contributor level. In today’s BANI world, you cannot expect to successfully approach challenges or draft meaningful strategies when you are seeing only fragments of the bigger picture.
On 3rd June, at Lenovo Romania, we are taking another step toward closing that gap.
We are bringing forward a panel of individual contributors, a panel that will not share polished recipes, but real experiences from the field and the ways they navigate them.
The theme is both challenging and central to the entire Upskilling project: From Self-Confidence to Strategic Vision

Gabriela Parnacu QA Software Engineer with 9+ years of experience in IT, Gabriela combines a sharp attention to detail with a genuine passion for technology. Beyond the technical side, she brings creativity and a strong human perspective into everything she does. Driven by curiosity and the thrill of problem-solving, she is constantly exploring both challenges and possibilities. Outside of work, Gabriela enjoys animals, nature, music, and meaningful conversations. In a world increasingly shaped by AI, she continues to look for the human side of things.
Dan Dragomir Dan lives at the intersection of technology, people, and perspective. As a Technical Project Manager and Global Scrum Master, he helps teams navigate complexity, align around priorities, and turn strategy into execution. His curiosity extends beyond work — through travel and photography, he continuously explores how different perspectives can change the way we understand a place, a problem, or a decision.
Alexandru Pop Software Engineer at Lenovo with 4 years of experience in infrastructure, architecture, and enterprise solutions, Alexandru brings a practical and customer-centric perspective to technology. Transitioning from a Solution Engineer role, he currently manages the company’s local datacenter operations, actively contributes to the development of a core software product, and maintains direct customer relationships — connecting technical execution with real business and user needs.
Isabela Alexe — With 20 years of experience in development and community leadership, her psychotherapeutic training integrates psychodrama, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and schema therapy. In her training facilitation, she incorporates psychodrama techniques, an experiential, action-based psychotherapy method, aimed at fostering psychological insight within organizational contexts.
Anne Dumitrache is an experienced trainer, organizational, cognitive-behavioral, and clinical psychologist, as well as an internationally certified coach. With 18 years in the IT industry — from developer to program manager for Fortune 500 companies — and more than 14 years in leadership, she brings deep expertise in people management and organizational growth.
