​Intro to 3D Printing & CAD (3 Sessions)

​Learn how to turn an idea into a physical object in this three-part introduction to 3D modeling and 3D printing. Classes will be Sunday 2-5PM November 8, 15, and 22.

​Over three sessions, you’ll learn the fundamentals of designing objects in OnShape, preparing your designs for 3D printing, and working with a desktop 3D printer. We’ll cover the full process from sketching and dimensioning a part to creating a 3D model, exporting it, slicing it, and producing a finished print.

​The course is hands-on and designed for complete beginners. You’ll have time to experiment, ask questions, and develop your own designs while building a practical foundation you can use for future projects.

​No previous CAD or 3D-printing experience required. Bring your own laptop to use OnShape on the browser. Students under 18 welcome with a parent or guardian.
