Respect Week 2026

Respect Week is a six-day hack-a-thon connecting technologists with real businesses across the DMV.

This is a hybrid event. Meaning you can participate remotely and in-person at recommended cafe's throughout the DC-metropolitan area.

Participants will choose a real business problem, form a team, and build a working technology solution in five days. On Day 6, teams will present their prototypes at the awards ceremony for a chance to win prizes, while every participant gains hands-on experience, new collaborators, and a portfolio-ready project.

Powered by Respect The Tech and hosted on the 4RL app.

Initial registration puts you on the list for outreach during phase 2 in mid November, which will include the details on the challenges and focus areas Respect Week will offer for participants. You will also receive a PDF of the recommended cafe list from our team.
