Learn the role of nutrition in health with Dr Poorvi Bhat & Aishwaraya Yadalam - this series is designed to help you learn the basics of nutrition, how to read food labels, and also how to master those persistent urges to snack at 4pm!

Session 1: Meal planning: How to save time, money & eat healthy!

  • Understanding meal-planning systems

  • Shopping right for flexibility and not rigidity

  • Time and cost-saving meal-prep strategies

  • How to factor in your health, allergies and preferences

Anyone who wants to start eating healthier but doesn’t know where to start

Session 2: Food labels 101: Learn how to decode the labels

  • Understanding nutritional literacy & why you should know your food better

  • How to read food labels & understanding ingredients

  • Essential things to look for - red and green flags

  • How to pick foods that fit your health goals

  • Practice reading labels

Anyone looking to improve their nutritional literacy & awareness

Session 3: Snacking Smart

Agenda of the session:

  • Why do we get more hungry at 4-6 pm?

  • Choosing the right snack - what your body is looking for & what it needs?

  • Plan your snacking, be it in the office or at home

  • How to tackle getting bored of healthy snacks

  • How to factor in health, dietary and food preferences while picking your snacks

Anyone looking to incorporate healthier eating habits & lifestyle changes

About Dr. Poorvi:

Dr Poorvi Bhat is a naturopathic physician (gold medalist) and AfN certified nutritionist. Her goal has always been to help people achieve their best health by listening to their bodies, eating intuitively and enjoying each meal.

Her research interests include the gut-brain axis, and the impact of food environments on how we eat, and she spends her free time in forests identifying Indian medicinal herbs.

She currently practises in her own clinic and has worked with hundreds of patients from over a dozen countries. She’s active on Instagram as her alter ego herbeshwari:)

About Aishwarya:

Aishwarya Yadalam holds a Mastesr in Education in Learning and Teaching from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

She has spent 10 years in the worlds of education and social work, and worked with universities, organisations and individuals. Her expertise is in facilitating growth, development and joy in professional spaces.

She cares deeply about creating spaces enabling adults to joyfully and effectively develop skills.
