Mannheim SCetch Camp: Alcohol Markers — colour & blending

​This SCetch Camp session is all about bright colours, smooth blending, and learning how alcohol markers work.

​We’ll explore the basics of alcohol markers: how to layer colours, how to blend them, how to avoid muddy results, and how to use markers for simple illustrations. You don’t need to know how to draw perfectly. We’ll focus on technique, colour, and having fun with the material.

​We’ll start with small exercises and then create a simple final illustration together.

​You’ll learn:

• ​how alcohol markers behave on paper

• ​how to blend colours smoothly

• ​how to create shadows and depth

• ​how to use colour combinations in a simple illustration

​No previous experience is needed. This session is beginner-friendly and open to everyone who wants to try alcohol markers in a relaxed group.

​Materials are provided, but you can also bring your own markers or sketchbook if you already have some.
