FLEXIBLE TIMES - WORKING WITH 9zero TO FIND A SPACE.

What does the healthcare industry have to do with climate change? More than you might think. Join us for a 45 minute presentation with time for Q&A that digs into one of the biggest paradoxes of the climate conversation: the very industry intended to keep us healthy might also be contributing to the crisis that threatens our health in the first place. We'll look at how climate-related diseases and illnesses are reshaping the medical world, and whether healthcare is rising to meet that challenge or quietly making things worse.

Speakers:

McKenna Parnes, PhD, MSEd is a clinical psychologist and researcher in Seattle, WA. Her work focuses on the intersections between youth mental health and climate change, with consideration of the ethical responsibility society holds in protecting and promoting the health and well-being of younger and future generations.

Adam Lough, MHA is a Sr. Strategic Advisor at the Wilshire group with a background spanning healthcare sustainability, revenue cycle, supply chain, and health systems management. His work is driven by the conviction that a healthier healthcare system, for patients, communities, and the planet, is achievable.
