Shepherd AI Engineers Dinner

​Join Mo Mahallawy, Shepherd's cofounder and CTO, alongside members of our engineering and product teams and a small group of AI engineers for a catered dinner at Shepherd's San Francisco office. With about a dozen people around the table, we'll get past the demos and compare what it takes to make AI work in production: evaluations, messy data, reliability, human handoffs, and what changes after launch.

​Shepherd builds commercial insurance and risk management for companies that build and operate the physical world. We bring underwriting expertise, software, and data together to make risk decisions faster and more informed. Our AI engine, Nova, works with information arriving in emails, PDFs, and spreadsheets to support underwriting. We're working toward more autonomous workflows, with clear reasoning and human judgment where it matters.
