2026 Goldman Environmental Prize Ceremony & Reception

​The environmental event of the year! 🌎🏆 The 2026 Goldman Environmental Prize ceremony and reception is on Monday, April 20.  

​The Goldman Prize is thrilled to offer a limited number of tickets to SF Climate Week attendees. Please submit your attendance request. Plan to be at the event no later than 5 PM for check-in.

​✨ About the Goldman Environmental Prize 

​For 37 years, the Goldman Prize has celebrated ordinary people who take extraordinary actions to protect our planet. The Goldman Prize recognizes grassroots environmental activists from the world’s six primary regions: Africa, Asia, Europe, Islands & Island Nations, North America, and South & Central America.

​This year’s theme, “Change Starts Where You Stand,” highlights that you don’t have to cross oceans to find environmental leadership—you might find it next door.

​Meaningful change is always within reach. Global movements begin in backyards and town halls, in our homes, our neighborhoods, and our communities—led by regular people. We believe that courage has the power to reshape the world.

​✨ About the Ceremony 

​The ceremony is by invitation only and lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. After the ceremony, guests are invited to attend a reception.

​If your request is approved 

​📍Location: The ceremony and reception location and check-in instructions will be shared via email prior to the event.  

​👗 Attire: Cocktail to business attire  

​💚 Age Limit: The reception is 21+
