Climate Action Club + Golden Gate National Park Volunteer Day

​Join Climate Action Club for a group volunteer event in the Presidio with Golden Gate National Parks and the Presidio Forest Stewards!

​Volunteers from the Presidio Habitat Stewards, Presidio Forest Stewards, and Presidio Nursery will come together to kick-off the morning before breaking into smaller groups to support the park and have fun. Forest Stewards tend to young trees in the Presidio’s reforestation areas, while learning about urban forestry and tree care! Activities may include planting, watering, weeding, or spreading mulch.

​Come to support restoration in the Presidio, make friends, and get outside on a Saturday morning!

​What to Wear & Bring:

• ​All necessary tools, gloves, and training will be provided.

• ​Wear clothes that can get dirty - long pants, closed-toe shoes (no flip-flops or sandals), layers for changing weather, and rain gear, if necessary.

• ​Bring sun protection, such as a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

• ​Bring a reusable water bottle and personal snacks.

• ​Print and sign the required form [attached below] (paper copies will be provided at the event for those that need one):

​Spots are limited, so please let us know ASAP (at least 2 days before the event) if you can no longer make it.
