Get ready for a special edition of Too Hot to Be Cool! Join us for a unique open-mic night supporting climate disaster relief for children in Indonesia.
For this unique open-mic edition of Too Hot to Be Cool (on Valentine's Day!), we're inviting Tokyo rock bands and solo artists to join the fun and the fight. Whether you're a THTBC veteran or completely new to our stage, you are welcome!
All proceeds from this open mic will be donated to Save The Children Indonesia to support their humanitarian work following climate disasters.
Not a musician? Join us to enjoy the show and the amazing vibe at The Den, Koenji's coziest music bar! That's your chance to experience more than 10 different local artists. Your next favorite local rock band may be there, who knows?
You can also join in the afternoon a free session of Digital Collage, an internationally acclaimed collaborative workshop to unveil the environmental impact of digital technologies and what you can do to reduce your footprint. A fun way to learn before enjoying a night of music!

Purchasing a Performer Ticket secures your spot on stage. Please note: all performers must purchase a ticket (if you're coming with a band, each member needs a ticket).
Stage Time Rules:
Solo Acts: one 10-minute slot.
Bands (2+ members): one 20-minute slot.
Scheduling: Choose your preferred performance time when you book your ticket.
Repeat Performances: Participants who are in multiple bands cannot play more than twice.
Flexibility: These rules may be relaxed on the night if extra performance slots are still available.
Stage Setup & Equipment:
The Den's stage is compact and intimate.
Setup time is included in your performance slot. Prepare for a quick setup!

The Den is a cozy Craft Beer, Burgers, Music & Community space in Kōenji. It features two levels (stage on top, bar/pinball/chill area on the bottom), serves more than 120 kinds of beers, and delicious burgers with vegan options available for the THTBC audience!

Too Hot to Be Cool について
Since April 2024, Too Hot to Be Cool brings Tokyo's rock scene together to raise funds for youth-led environmental NPOs in Southeast Asia. Our first six editions have collected more than ¥1,000,000 for climate organizations in Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
