Workshop: Infrastructure for Games of Any Size

Every game runs into the same core monetization challenges — whether it's a weekend project built by a student, a first release from a small indie studio, or a title with millions of active players. How do you accept payments from players in 200+ countries? How do you make sense of your revenue data? How do you stop fraud from eating into your margins? And how do you actually grow revenue over time, rather than just collecting it?

The good news: you don't need a AAA budget or a huge team to solve these problems properly. Xsolla's products are built to be accessible from day one — a two-person indie team working on their first release can plug into the same payment infrastructure, analytics, and fraud protection used by some of the biggest games in the world, without having to build any of it themselves.

In this workshop, we'll walk through Xsolla's product ecosystem and show exactly how each piece solves one of these problems in practice. Rather than a high-level overview, we'll go product by product, using real cases to connect each tool to the specific monetization challenge it was built for — payments infrastructure, analytics, fraud prevention, and revenue growth tools.

By the end of the session, you'll have a clear map of the modern game monetization stack: what each piece does, why it matters, and — just as importantly — why the same fundamentals apply whether you're building your first indie project or scaling a game to a global audience.

What you'll walk away with:

  • A clear picture of the core monetization challenges every game faces, regardless of size or budget

  • A practical understanding of Xsolla's key products and which specific problem each one solves

  • Real-world examples showing these products in action

  • A framework for thinking about monetization that applies from a student side project, to an indie studio's first release, to a AAA title
