Early-Stage Insurance Considerations: Guidance on How Insurance Need Evolves as Startups Scale

​In collaboration with IMA Financial Group and LA BioSpace, Melissa Motush from Chubb will speak to startup founders and entrepreneurs about insurance considerations by startups and provide guidance on how insurance need evolves as companies grow and scale.

​Melissa Motush is a Life Sciences Underwriting Manager and Senior Life Sciences Specialist at Chubb in San Diego, CA. Melissa has worked in the insurance industry with Chubb since 2010. She’s been involved in a variety of special projects, including managing the Southern California Life Science industry group relationships, the Chubb-BIO partnership, and involvement in TechAssure. Melissa received the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) Presidential Scholarship in 2015 and dedicated her time into earning her CPCU designation in 2016. She currently serves on the board of the San Diego CPCU chapter and is a former Chapter President.
