Devin Oxford FinHack 2026 is a one-day FinTech hackathon powered by Devin, the AI software engineer from Cognition, taking place in Oxford on Sunday 29 November 2026.
Bringing together business school students, finance professionals, entrepreneurs and engineers, the hackathon challenges participants to develop working FinTech solutions in a single day.
From AI-powered financial agents, investment platforms and trading tools to digital banking, payments, lending and personal finance, participants will tackle real-world challenges across the financial industry and build practical solutions using Devin.
No coding experience is required. Whether you have a background in finance, an interest in technology or an idea worth exploring, the hackathon offers an opportunity to collaborate across disciplines and turn ideas into working products.
Programme
8.30 am — Doors open, breakfast and registration
9.00 am — Welcome and introduction to Devin
10.00 am — Team formation
10.15 am — Hackathon begins
1.00 pm — Lunch
3.30 pm — Submission deadline
4.30 pm — Team demonstrations (5 minutes per team)
5.30 pm — Judges' deliberation
6.00 pm — Awards and closing
What to Expect
Participants will receive access to Devin, refreshments and meals throughout the day, with Devin credits awarded to outstanding teams.
