AI Agents under the hood

​Who you are:

• ​This event would be perfect for you if you’re a programmer and you want to get a clear mental model of how agents are built under the hood.

• ​This might NOT be for you if you’re already able to code an agent by hand from scratch.

​Questions answered in this presentation:

• ​How are LLMs trained?

• ​Pre-trained vs post-trained models and chat templates

• ​How to give the LLM memory

• ​How to give the LLM the ability to call tools

• ​How to code an AI agent from scratch (without agent frameworks)

​After this class:

• ​Agents will not feel like magic anymore.

• ​You will be able to build better agents and debug them faster.

• ​You will become more proficient at using agents like Cursor, Cline, etc… (you understand how they’re built, so you understand why they fail when they do)

​This class will be very interactive, and I will require your full focus.

​You will not need to bring your laptop.
