About Event

Welcome to the very first Decoding Tech meetup.

Decoding Tech is a community for students, developers, founders, and curious builders exploring AI and emerging technologies. Through workshops, founder talks, podcasts, and networking events, our goal is simple:

Learn together. Build together. Grow together.

For our first session, we'll explore one of the most important technologies shaping the future: Large Language Models (LLMs).

Whether you've only used ChatGPT a few times or you're already building with AI, this workshop will help you understand how modern LLMs work and how to use them effectively for studying, software development, research, and everyday productivity.

Speaker

Govind Rajput

Managing Director, Alphasearch Pte. Ltd. (Singapore)

Govind brings a rare combination of deep technical expertise and industry leadership.

Before leading executive search across Asia, he spent more than 11 years at American Express, building AI and machine learning systems for credit risk, fraud detection, customer analytics, and digital lending across Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Thailand.

Today, he advises startups, scale-ups, global technology companies, and financial institutions on hiring world-class AI, machine learning, and engineering leaders. Having built AI systems himself, Govind offers practical insights into how AI is applied in real businesses, making this session valuable for anyone looking to understand both the technology and the opportunities it creates.

Guest Speaker

Alex

Founder, Tendril

Alex will introduce Tendril, an early-stage AI startup building decentralized infrastructure for collecting high-quality human feedback and multilingual data to improve the next generation of AI models.

He'll share what they're building, why human feedback remains essential for AI, and how students can contribute to real-world AI projects.

This is an educational session, not a sales presentation.
