AI & Happiness - Will AI make us happier?
An insightful evening exploring how AI is changing our wellbeing, relationships, and everyday lives, and ultimately, what it means to be human.
AI promises to make us smarter, faster and more efficient. But will it make us happier?
Join Gina Azaric, founder of the Happiness Leadership Institute, and Sanna Kuoppamäki, Associate Professor in Technology in Health Care at KTH, for a thought-provoking conversation exploring the relationship between AI, technology and human wellbeing.
Drawing on Sanna’s research into human-centered AI, social robotics, wearable technologies and wellbeing, we will explore a fundamental question: As AI becomes increasingly integrated into our lives, how can we ensure it contributes to human flourishing rather than simply greater efficiency?
You’ll explore:
Can AI actually improve our happiness and wellbeing?
Can AI reduce loneliness or could it make us more disconnected?
How can we design technology around human needs rather than the other way around?
As AI becomes more human-like, what becomes more important about being human?
Following the conversation, there will be an interactive audience discussion and Q&A.
Guests are invited to stay, connect and continue the conversation. Dinner reservations will be available at Soho House before and after the event by emailing reception.stockholm@sohohouse.com.
