Thinking about building AI for Good? Here are 3 mistakes we made…
So, you're thinking about building AI for good? Chayn's been on the journey. And we want to share what we learnt so you don't have to make the same mistakes 🤗
We believe that by embedding trauma-informed thinking into technology, you can build tools that uplift rather than undermine, that support healing rather than perpetuate harm. We also think that the future of AI doesn’t have to be extractive, exclusionary, or opaque - it can and should be human-centered, community-led, and rooted in hope.
We have designed this workshop so you can learn from our journey building our Survivor AI.
Join us to:
Learn, with tangible examples, how we applied trauma-informed design principles when building our Survivor AI
Hear–and hopefully learn from–the mistakes we made along the way
Be challenged to think about you own organisational values and how to apply them when building AI for Good
This workshop is suited to participants thinking about designing their own AI for good and those funding it.
The workshop will be run by Chayn’s Director of Product Nadine Krishnamurthy-Spencer and Chayn’s Head of Movement Building and Policy Eva Blum-Dumontet.
