Service Design Day 2026: Future skills building for designers.
Join us for a relaxed after-work gathering celebrating Service Design Day, the yearly event that brings together the design community to connect, share ideas, and reflect on the future of the field.
This year’s event aligns with the global theme, Leveraging the Skills of Designers in the Era of AI, highlighting how designers can adapt, grow, and create value in a rapidly changing landscape.
Hosted by the City of Espoo in collaboration with the Service Design Network, the evening offers an opportunity to exchange insights and build connections. The program features an interactive panel discussion with practical tips on presenting your skills, navigating job applications, and responding to shifting expectations in the field. In addition, the event marks the opening of the Etukeno Kaupunkien ja kuntien ennakointiverkosto, the Foresight Network for Cities and Municipalities, along with an introduction to its work and vision.
