Yale AI Association Fall Kickoff (brought to you by SpaceXAI)

​Welcome! This is the Yale Artificial Intelligence Association’s fall and academic-year kickoff. Incoming first-years (plus sophomores and juniors!) will get introduced to YAI, the projects and initiatives this year, and ways to get involved and actually build with AI on campus.

​We’ll showcase YAI’s teams, projects, events, and collaborations (including with top companies, like SpaceXAI, IBM, MIT, etc.).

​Then, we will have a dedicated segment on the Grok ecosystem: a live Grok Bot demo from Filippo (SpaceXAI Yale Campus Lead; early access!) so people can see what most students haven’t tried yet. After that, we will host a 20–30 minute Grok competition where you’ll build, experiment, and win Cursor credits in short challenges meant to show how fast the Grok suite is.

​We will then explore YAI inititatives this year, including YaleAI x Medicine, YaleAI x Finance, and much more.
