About Event

Join us for an evening of slow stitching, warm drinks, and meaningful conversation as we transform a cherished photograph into a one-of-a-kind keepsake.

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll learn the fundamentals of cross stitch while creating a personalized piece using your own photo, mounted on beautiful watercolor paper. Whether it's a favorite memory, a loved one, your pet, or a special moment, you'll leave with a handmade artwork that's uniquely yours.

No experience is necessary. We'll guide you through every step, making this the perfect introduction to cross stitching in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

As you stitch, enjoy a complimentary specialty drink or tea and a delicious cinnamon bun, generously gifted by our friends at Rollys.

Your ticket includes:

  • All cross-stitch materials

  • Watercolor paper backing

  • Your printed photograph

  • Guided instruction throughout the workshop

  • One complimentary specialty drink or tea

  • A freshly baked cinnamon bun from Rollys

Come by yourself or bring a friend—this is an evening to slow down, create something meaningful, and enjoy the simple pleasure of making with your hands.

What to Expect

When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed into a warm, unhurried space.

The lights will be soft.
The tea will be steeping.
There’s no rush here.

Everything you need will already be waiting for you — materials prepared, tables set, cushions fluffed. You don’t need to bring anything but yourself.

Throughout the session, gentle guidance will be available, but you’re always free to move at your own pace. Create slowly. Experiment. Sit quietly. Share if you’d like — or simply keep your work close.

There will be light music, warm lamps, and the kind of atmosphere that lets your shoulders drop a little.

This is a space to exist, not to perform.

Getting Here

Soft Studio Days is tucked quietly inside Montréal, at
2000 Northcliffe, Apt 216.

We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early so you can settle in, and choose your spot before we begin.

We’re a hidden little corner.

When you arrive at 2000 Northcliffe, walk past the main entrance and continue down the street. Along the side of the building, you’ll notice the row of 200 apartments. You’ll see a wooden fence — we’re right beside it.

Take your time finding us. It’s part of the ritual.

Cancellations

Tickets are non-refundable, as each gathering is prepared thoughtfully and intentionally.

If an event does not meet the minimum number of guests required to run, we’ll reach out and offer you a full refund or the option to transfer to another date.

We encourage you to double-check your schedule before booking — once you reserve your seat, it’s held just for you.

Photography

From time to time, we gently capture moments inside the studio — the soft light, the hands at work, the quiet in-between.

By attending, you’re allowing Soft Studio Days to share small glimpses of these gatherings for future invitations and storytelling.

We always aim to keep this subtle and respectful. If you prefer not to be photographed, simply let us know when you arrive. Your comfort matters.
