Geoscientists shouldn’t have to wait months, or manage countless data copies, to start
interpreting their seismic data. Yet, with traditional seismic formats, much of their time is
lost to data wrangling, conversions, and data limitations instead of focusing on what truly
matters: understanding the subsurface.
Bluware FAST changes this. By streaming seismic data directly from Bluware’s Volume
Data Store (VDS) format, geoscientists gain instant access to full-fidelity data without
copying, converting, or decimating it. VDS becomes the single source of truth, adaptively
providing the right data resolution for the task, whether QC, visualization, or interpretation,
so workflows remain fast and uninterrupted.
FAST allows applications to read and visualize seismic data on demand, preserving full
fidelity while eliminating the need for local copies or manual conversions. The result:
interpreters can access, analyze, and share subsurface insights faster than ever, using their
preferred applications and existing OSDU infrastructure.
