About Event

The Seattle Donut Economics Coalition and Sustainable Seattle are celebrating 2026 Global Donut Days, saluting with Green Drinks on October 22. Everyone is welcome to our annual event to connect and get inspired from one another.

Seattle Donut Economics Coalition (SeaDEC) is the local chapter of the global Doughnut Economics Action Lab (DEAL), which helps changemakers worldwide turn Doughnut Economics into action for systemic change. The Doughnut envisions humanity thriving in a safe, just space where social needs are met within ecological limits.

Sustainable Seattle (S2) is building a local foundation of climate justice through connected community-led initiatives that deliver environmental, economic, and community benefits, promote equity, and build resilience. S2 envisions a thriving, regenerative, sustainable Seattle which centers reciprocity, liberation, and restored abundance. S2 defines sustainability as the ancient and enduring practice of creating richness in natural resources, attuning to nature’s environmental indicators, and providing equitable access to health, food, shelter, and economic wealth for all people.

Whole Washington is the state's largest grassroots organization advocating for universal healthcare. By bill or by ballot, we'll win comprehensive care that's free to use and open to all. Washington can reclaim our health, money, and power from the insurance industry.

Regenerate Cascadia is a social movement and capacity-building organization working to regenerate the Cascadia bioregion. We are growing a network of practitioners, communities, and organizers throughout the bioregion, getting people to think on the scale of entire watersheds, and building the social and financial infrastructure to support work happening in the landscape.

Expect inspiring conversations with peers about circular economy projects, bioregionalism, the reuse & repair movement, climate tech news, and much more. Bring a friend, a colleague, or come solo and leave with a few new people worth knowing. We hope to see you there.
