How We Produce: Growing a Shared Future
How can food production restore nature, strengthen communities, and build a food system that is just, resilient, and regenerative? That is the question at the centre of this month's BKKCAW Food Systems Community Exchange, taking place tomorrow, 8 July 2026, 4-5pm, online.
Three practitioners from Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Chachoengsao will share how they are working on exactly that.
Dr. Kritsada Boonchai of the Local Development Institute brings a systems lens to environment, climate justice, and natural resource management - the structural forces that shape whether regenerative production is even possible.
Khun Kingkorn Narintarakul na Ayutthaya of Food for Change works on the consumer side of the same question, a reminder that how we produce and how we eat are inseparable.
And Khun Watchara Warangkoon of Baan Warangkoon in Chachoengsao is a community leader, farmer, and logistics specialist preserving and developing his 1,200-rai hometown สวนยกร่อง - the traditional ditch-orchard system that is one of Thailand's most remarkable and underrecognised forms of community agriculture and one I am particularly curious to hear more about.
Join us for a rich discussion, one hour online, with Q&A and community updates at the end.
In Thai with consecutive translation to English.
