The Toronto ML Systems Group
Come hang out for the Toronto ML systems group, an evening for people who want to sharpen their expertise on topics like:
Hardware-aware algorithms and hardware-software co-design
Distributed training and inference optimization
Automated kernel generation
The systems ideas behind modern AI, and applications where such knowledge pushes the frontier of what is possible
We are building this as an educational, recurring meetup with enough structure to help you follow the whole stack, whether that be chips, ML compilers, kernels, model architectures, attention variants, etc.
Expect conversation over lectures, with room for both people already working in the space and people who want a clearer path into it.
This session will help set the tone for what the group becomes. We will dig into readings, connect big ideas to practical tradeoffs, and sketch out hands-on challenges for future meetups.
Let's see who's who.
