​ACT I: The Jackson 5, Session 005: The Later Years: 1974 - 1975 - June 26th, 2026 - 7:30 PM EST / 6:30 PM PT

​With "Dancing Machine" becoming a top no.2 pop hit, the group was back on top, but becoming increasingly tired of the same Motown formula, and their inability to write and produce their own songs. We'll be diving into performances from 1974, as well as the full album Dancing Machine (1974),with highlights from Michael's final Motown solo album Forever, Michael (1975) which indicates a significant change in tone, and the group;s final album Moving Violation (1975).

​It was time for them to leave Motown, once and for all.
