Our special guest this month is Sasha Kelberg — Founder and Chairman of Groglass, the Latvian high-tech company he built over 20 years from ex-Soviet glass coating technology into a global leader in anti-reflective coatings, exporting to 50+ countries and achieving 80% EU market share.
In September 2026, Groglass was acquired by US publicly traded company Apogee Enterprises in a transaction valued at €62.5 million. A landmark exit for the Latvian tech and manufacturing ecosystem.
Sasha's journey covers the full entrepreneurial arc — from lab concept to international scale, through a management buyout, 20+ international investors, and ultimately a strategic exit to a major US player.
