LET’S START ’26 — ZERO TO PROTOTYPE From Idea to Innovation | From Concept to Prototype Let’s Start ’26 is a student innovation experience designed to take participants from problem identification and ideation to solution development and final presentation. Participants can participate individually or in teams of 1–4 members.
DAY 1 — 10 OCTOBER 2026
IDEATION & POSTER PRESENTATION
The journey begins with participants presenting their problem statement, proposed solution, innovation, and idea through a poster presentation. Participants will get the opportunity to showcase their concepts, explain the problem they are addressing, and demonstrate how their proposed solution can create meaningful impact. Shortlisted teams will have their posters professionally printed and provided by the organizers for the presentation. This round will focus on: Problem identification Innovation and originality Proposed solution Relevance and impact Alignment with the event theme Clarity of presentation
DAY 2 — 11 OCTOBER 2026
BUILD • PRESENT • PITCH
The second day focuses on taking the shortlisted ideas from concept towards a working solution or prototype. Shortlisted teams will get the opportunity to further develop and refine their ideas and present their final solution before the evaluation panel. The final presentation may include: Problem Statement Solution & Innovation Implementation / Working Prototype or Demonstration Technology Used Expected Impact & Feasibility Teams will explain their approach, demonstrate their solution where applicable, and respond to questions from the evaluation panel. EVALUATION The final evaluation will consider factors such as: Innovation | Problem Relevance | Solution Quality | Prototype/Implementation | Feasibility | Impact | Presentation
🏆 CASH PRIZES & REWARDS Outstanding teams will be recognized with exciting cash prizes and rewards:
🥇 1st Prize — ₹10,000
🥈 2nd Prize — ₹5,000
🥉 3rd Prize — ₹3,000
In addition to the cash prizes, participants can also look forward to exciting goodies, sponsor rewards, recognition, and networking opportunities. BEYOND THE COMPETITION Selected participants will also get opportunities for mentorship, feedback, networking and further refinement of their ideas, helping them take their concepts beyond the competition and towards real-world implementation. The on-campus competition will be conducted on 10th and 11th October 2026, covering the Poster Presentation, Prototype Development/Final Pitch and Judging rounds.
